Artisans At Work (Ploceus philippinus)

I am aware that uploading of nests is not permitted on BF. But I came across these beauties in the process of building nest in preparation to raise a family. I double checked through my binoculars that the nests were empty & no chicks or eggs were in them. One can actually see that the bigger nest on the left is still incomplete & the two nests being woven by male weavers in this image are only in initial stages of construction. I have shot this image from about 200 feet so as not to disturb the birds & given it a big crop. You can actually see that they are getting on with their work peacefully.

I have also discussed this issue with a staff member who has cleared it for uploading. I think this image well depicts the behavior of these small beauties displaying their weaving skills. Hence, I feel it might be a good addition to the gallery.

What is amazing, they didn't even have to go to school to learn their weaving skills. This one seems to be learning the alphabet! Brilliant SK!!!!!
