Ashy Woodswallow (Artamus fuscus)

I saw a flock of these gracefully flying about palms at Mamalapuram - just South of Chennai and home of the world famous Shore Temple. This was a fantastic area full of wildlife and a wonderful backdrop to the various kingfishers and sunbirds that were also present in the area. I stayed here for about a week and came very close to being run down by some mean looking water buffalo.
