Asir magpie
another endemic of Arabia and Asir region in particular, not found everywhere in Asir, only restricted to three areas, Tanomah, Balahmer and Sooda Mountains, that's why it is considered endangered and it is estimated to be only 100 pairs.

it looks a bit like the Eurasian magpie, but it certainly larger and have very deferent calls. i have a voice clip for it, will upload it ASAP.

lifer No.12, there are two others i don't have shots for them, the Arabian partridge and the Bruce green pigeon.

I thought you've had a quick trip to my neighbourhood,Doux,colours very similar to our Magpie. Great shot.
