.... he showed me a bit of his wing!!!

He was sitting on the stump when I tried to take his picture, then the obvious happened.

Actually this is a bit of a plumage info picture. White-breasted Robins have a white wing bar, but it's only visible in flight. The vaguely similar female Hooded Robin has a white wing bar which you can see on the perched bird.

Apparently it was proud of that white wing bar and wanted to show it off (lol). Well done D. Unfortunately, we have all had this happen and too frequent as well! TFS!
