Australian Hobby (Falco longipennis)

We went to Kings Park to look for pardalotes and to enjoy the stunningly beautiful wildflowers. No pardalotes but a pair of Hobbys were flirting. It must be that time of the year.

Kings Park is so attractive, isn't it David. It was a shame it was soooo very hot the day I went (my very last day in Australia).

That's a fabulous picture you've taken of this lovely hobby, a raptor I didn't manage to see sadly.

Many thanks my friend.

An awesome image of this Hobby and captured beautifully David!

I guess we know who is guilty of eating all the pardalotes. Okay I get a black mark for bad humour. A bird like this I would love to photograph more than a pardalote, and I love shooting pardalotes (in the rare event that I see them).
