Australian native Grass

Australian native Grass (????)

I'm not sure what this one is... but I love the way it glows pink and cream in the morning light! A
Habitat
Coastal heathland/Wallum
Location
Walligan, QLD
Date taken
27 3 08
Scientific name
????
Equipment used
Fuji 5000
It's beautiful!

Possibly a member of the genus Paractaenum - but it's not easy to find info on native grasses, and even harder to find a picture for comparison. If you're any good at deciphering scientific descriptions this might help: http://vegmad.org/data/grasses-db/www/imp07324.htm

Otherwise, just enjoy the way it glows at dawn. :t: ;)

Hi, Andrew! :t: I love this image with the pinkish grass rocking in the wind and against that cloudy sky! Very nice!!! o:) :t:
