Autumn sunset

November was an awful month for light, we hardly saw any blue sky at all and it was so dark all the time.

After what seemed like weeks of darkness, the sun decided to try and show its face right as it was setting, with colours I don't think I've seen before. I was hoping it was going to be nice the next day... but no such luck.

November is always the worst month here. And just imagine all those Novembers up through the years when I would get that annual November letter from my parents that they still hadn't had a "killer frost" and were still harvesting tomatoes in their garden, even as the first oranges were already coming ripe. :S I think they kept hoping to make me homesick enough to move back to California ;)

was that my garden delia it sure looks familiar no i just saw the chimney there.a gorgeous sunset capture.take care.all the best margaret.
