Awww, this youngster looks so beautiful in that light with the raised head feathers. Such a gorgeous capture.

It's an adult, John; the crown is too defined for a juvenile... and they don't start breeding until April. I don't see the fledglings until around July (there's a few pics of youngsters in my gallery somewhere... you should see the difference... if you can find the pics ;) )
