Baby Hawk

Nice capture of this Accipiter in a natural setting that really conveys the feeling of winter! Well done!!

This is a young hawk, but it is not a coopers. It is a Red-shouldered. Note the pattern in the wings with the heavy white mottleing not present in coopers; also notice the tail it is short in proportion to body, in a coopers the tail would be much longer and would have baring. Good image. :t:
