Baby Meadow Pipit (Anthus pratensis)

It's amazing how they survive , 2 were constantly calling to be fed by their parents. I watched them for quite a while and they flew to cover as soon as any predators appeared. And there were Crows, Ravens, Red Kites, Buzzards, Kestrels and Magpies around. And that was just the aerial threat

Amazing is right, but they must succeed a great deal of the time or they wouldn't be around. A fantastic capture here, tfs!

Oh my goodness Mark... I've never seen a youngster!! What a great picture you've taken of this wee guy!!

Many thanks for showing him to us lad - I wonder, could you please advise where and when you took the photo - was it in the Ruislip area?
