Back again! (Falco columbarius)

The Merlin was back in the same place yesterday afternoon. It was sat watching something on the salt marsh. After a few seconds it took off chasing after a flock of Goldfinch feeding on thistles. Large flocks (60-80) of both Linnet and Goldfinch are present here - probably the main for the Merlin.
