Back for leftovers (Bombycilla cedrorum)

A small flock of these waxwings were here one morning to clean up the last of the berries on the toyon trees in our neighborhood. I guess they're not particular how fresh the berries are.

Brilliant pose and well detailed colourful capture you have of this beauty Vicki, well done.

We had waxwings eating berries from our mountain ash that looked more like raisons than they did berries! Oh and BEAUTIFUL, GORGEOUS SHOT!

Gorgeous! Hope I get to see some this trip - waxwings, that is. Toyon I have seen, but the birds grabbing the leftovers were robins.
