Back in Sept ... (Spinus spinus)

... there were also loads of Siskins about. I suppose that was because there were so many thistles and other Siskin favorites in seed. Now I haven't seen any for a good while. I hope it's just that they've found a food source up in the woods somewhere. Perhaps we'll see them at the feeders later in Winter.
