Bad weather stopped visit (Erithacus rubecula)

Rather a strange title and I was not talking about the Robin not visiting either...Which it has been in the garden this morning for its crushed fat balls.

I know some of you wanted to know how I got on at my Hospital appointment today for my checkup on the cancerous spot I had removed from my neck, this was possibly going to be the final visit before I was given the all clear. Due to the weather conditions here of -8 degrees and 4 inches of compacted snow underneath it Ian thought it better not to risk the journey to Hartlepool. I now have been rescheduled for 31st Jan....Many thanks to all BF's , you are such caring friendly people.

Right. You don't have studded winter tyres in the UK. I remember asking daughter and son-in-law if they couldn't get a set when they were driving from Wales to Manchester airport in the snow to fly here for Xmas. They said that would be considered a "modification" of the car and their insurance would go UP! Good grief! Get a better grip on the road and your insurance goes UP? Probably better to reschedule then. Good luck on the 31st. And meanwhile, those soaked, saturated colors make a lovely robin shot |=)|

Hope all goes well on your next visit, take care. - I like the dark colors here, beautiful photo
