Balcony-biodiversity ... 67 (Cinnyris asiaticus)

Balcony Biodiversity ... 67
_______

Purple patch in my
garden ...

A capture from our
Balcony ...
The Bauhinia tree is
in full spring-time
bloom ...
and little songsters
like one here ... are
having a great time ...

They are forging
pair-bondage ... defining
territories and singing
aloud ...
Though ... one here still
has to get rid of a few
light-colored off-season
feathers ... it is
involved in all these
activities ...

Never noticed his
iris, too, is purple ...
... before this image ...

Watch them feed ... preen
and sing ... in a two-minute
stitched movie recorded
at Bharatpur ... and showing
this individual in the
last part ...

Ohhhh! Oh my how beautiful he is.... and what lovely feather detail you've captured too Alok.

A wonderful job you've done here my friend. And many thanks for the lovely video too.

A fabulous image, Alok! Wonderful color, pose and setting. The video was outstanding. The bird seems to go from flower to flower as fast as a hummer but always perched.

Wow, Alok, how very beautiful this image is. I love everything about it. An absolutely stunning image. Thanks for sharing.
