I guess in the cold of winter here, an eagle does mean business when it comes to food! There were several other eagles hanging around in the trees waiting their turn.
 
Yes, thankfully they have become a common sight over the last couple of decades. I believe Minnesota has the highest number in the US of nesting pairs, outside of Alaska.
