Band-tailed Manakin
It's been 3 months since I last saw my little manakin friend. It disappeared from his little spot around Christmas last year. This is one of the last pics I took.
I kinda bonded with this little fellow. I still walk by there about once a week but sadly no signs since then.
Well that's how it goes sometimes...

let's hope it will show up again, Roy, a wonderful photo with that hypnotising eye, love it, many tfs!!

A wonderful picture. This is the sad side of their life span or daily fight to survive.
The same for me with a robin at my local spot. It often perched close to me and I listened to his melody in spring. Not here anymore this year.
In full song one of many pics of this cutie.

A brilliant close-up of this bright-eyed and colorful Band-tailed Manakin, one that you will cherish. I hope it returns Roynato! TFS!
