Such a colourful beauty....
Great shot! Is it called a "Banded Dotterel" or is it a "Dotterel" that has been banded?
Similar thoughts ... but they are in decline (due to dpastern) and this cutie has to take the "banded" burden. Hopefully with a positive development for the species in a nearby future.
