Thanks heaps Hans and Beste for your kind words. Glad to see someone else on the same page . I am from down south near Albury proberbly around the same vintage as yourself and love photography. I,m just a normal guy trying to stay under the radar no bells and whistles but i do like looking at nice sharp well thought out images like you have been taking for a long time. I started many years ago self taught as there was not much around to learn from and a lot of the pro,s didn,t share much information. I have never joined a club or been involved in a organisation as i sort of liked my own space, starting to mellow a bit lately. Went through the Nikon era then eventually made the big desion to leave the dark side which was the best move that i made . Am currently using 7DMark11,s, 1dxSeries just arrived with most of the cannon prime lens. I used the Mark4,s for many years and think they were the best all round bird camera with the 1.3 crop .Lately i have been venturing over seas a bit has its ups and downs .
