Testing my two zoom lenses and found my Tamron 150-600 is not focusing to well. I will have to have it serviced. Back to my old Canon 100-400 lens.

It may be the gears in you lens Dick. I had that with a Sigma 70-300 and it cost 60. Hope you get it fixed ok :t:
 
Hi Dick.We have tried manual focussing,even in good light,but our eyes are not that good anymore,especially if the subject is a long way off.Auto focus should be good,but the slightest movement by the bird gives you the impression that the camera is stuffing up.Anyway,hope you can get things fixed.;nice shot just the same,but we suspect a long way off.
 
Hope the lens problem is not too serious Dick. Only problem with mine is the lock is not too effective.
