Bare-cheeked Babbler (Turdoides gymnogenys)

One of the most sought-after Namibian birds, they live in nomadic family groups and can be quite unpredictable. I was lucky to find a small band at Huab Lodge, in the Erongo Mountains area. It was late in the morning with harsh light, but I was happy to get them both looking at me.
