Barn owl with Vole

The days are already getting shorter and I have been unable to catch the barn owl clear even at 25600 iso on the Nikon D3.

So well after 10.00 pm I tried flash for this shot and was lucky, the barn owl flew off but came back within 30 seconds.

A little owl and a Kestral use this same branch.
