great shot all the same,cant always have the conditions for the perfect shot, i know,but to see special events like this and take a record is good enough for me,spurs me on for the next day when it all comes together,or the day after that ,or one day even lol. great shot and a pleasure to see
I've got a couple on my patch that hunt on the fields ...... I find that using the flash can alarm them into not coming back to area for days. Patience and a spot of luck with the light behind you will reap rewards. If you get the birds confidence you will have far more chance of getting the shots you are hoping to achieve. It is still a picture to be proud of, despite your striving for perfection. Well done.
