Awwww! Just fabulous! A gorgeous capture of this owl, Andy.

And yes, when we get two or more male pheasant in the garden it can be quite noisy - and amusing as they strut about trying to get rid of the other!

Superb Andy - these owls are normally ringed as owlets at 3-7 weeks while still nestlings so won’t have been netted if that makes it any more palatable (the ringing data underpins decades of conservation work to try and reverse the decline of this iconic owl https://www.bto.org/our-science/projects/bomp/history-barn-owl-monitoring https://www.bto.org/sites/default/files/publications/bto-research-report-692-barn-owls.pdf
