Barnacle geese have been showing up along the Eastern Seacoast here in USA for the last few years.

Earlier reports were attributed to captive escapees, now changed to a Greenland sub-species. I saw my 1st here in NJ about 5 miles from home with Canada geese back in 1994 with a fellow birder. A Very exciting day !!!
