This beautiful barred owl has been seen in my yard on a nearly daily basis for the last couple of weeks and lucky for me has been a very willing subject. Today is a beautiful spring day and I think he decided to take advantage of it and stretched out in the sunshine. After a few minutes he flew away into a nearby tree.
