The last bird, before leaving the Cypress Trail was a Red-rumped Parrot.

Now he really was being difficult, think he was trying to get as much shade as he could... I tried different angles but this was the best I could get of him.

Interestingly, the first time I saw one of these was my last day in outback Queensland with Hans, now here he is on my last day in South Australia!
