bat.

well guys put this in the animal category as its a mammal.only usually see these flying around at night but when i took my car for an mot saw this one on the wall i had no camera but thank god i had my sidekick erin with me and she had her iphone.the guy said there is alot of bats he sees them first thing in the morning flying in and back out until they manage to find the gap on the roof to crawl in.this one was a little wet as it was raining and also i noticed it had tick like bugs sucking its blood on it.still great to see this little one close-up.think its a pipestrelle bat.

Fantastic Mags!

I have been thinking about putting up a couple of bat boxes this fall and hopefully some will roost in them.

A great picture that Margaret, but I do feel he might not be well; they shouldn't be out during the day.

Hope he's OK though.

Well done Erin... comes to Granma's rescue again!!;)

Brilliant capture Margaret, a few years ago when we were in Slovenia we saw one flying around in daylight in the Hotel garden.
