Habitat
Tropical lowland rainforest, riverine floodplain forest along Ro Madre de Dios at 256 m (840 ft) elevation.
Location
Manu Lodge, along Ro Madre de Dios, Madre de Dios Department, Per.

wow!! what a splendid butterfly and what a great photo, Stanley!! I'm always marveled when I try to imagine how evolution ended up with these elaborate colors and patterns, fascinating. top class, many tfs!!!
