Habitat
They prefer habitats where there are a lot of flowers, such as fields, parks, backyards, and open clearings in forests. Ruby-throated hummingbirds use their long, needlelike bill to eat nectar from flowers such as salvia, trumpet creeper, bee balm, thistle petunias
