Taken early April 2017 in my garden.

I don't often see these in my garden.

Seeing Stanley's recent post of his native bee fly put me in mind of ours here in the UK and thought it might be nice perhaps to post one as a comparison.

Great close-up of this Bee Fly! We have the same species plus a few other species in the genus. In addition, we have a few other genera that look similar to this but colored differently. TFS this great macro with us John!
