Before I pack the computer for a while (Lanius collurio)

thought I'd leave you with one of my better shots so far this trip. Another Red-backed Shrike. Female this time, with prey.

Should also update my lifer list on my profile. Latest lifers are now: Syrian Woodpecker, Wood Warbler, Red-breasted Flycatcher, Collared Flycatcher, Black Woodpecker, Northern Goshawk, Honey Buzzard, Alpine Swift, Eurasian Wryneck, and European Bee-Eater :D Some just record shots, though. The rest no shots at all. Well, maybe some decent shots of the first two, but taken on a rainy day so not all that good.

She's lovely Ann! A super picture of this busy lady.

I'm soooo jealous of some of your new Lifers, 'specially the woodpeckers and flycatchers.... grrr. Oh you lucky girl you.

Enjoy the next part of your holiday.

Three excellent subject species today Ann, but plenty more to come judging by that impressive list of lifers.... very well done you.

A super capture of this shrike and its prey, Ann. Great pose and setting too. I would be very happy indeed with that image. You have had a terrific birding trip.
