Before I pack the computer for a while (Lanius collurio)

thought I'd leave you with one of my better shots so far this trip. Another Red-backed Shrike. Female this time, with prey.

Should also update my lifer list on my profile. Latest lifers are now: Syrian Woodpecker, Wood Warbler, Red-breasted Flycatcher, Collared Flycatcher, Black Woodpecker, Northern Goshawk, Honey Buzzard, Alpine Swift, Eurasian Wryneck, and European Bee-Eater :D Some just record shots, though. The rest no shots at all. Well, maybe some decent shots of the first two, but taken on a rainy day so not all that good.

Very impressive close-up of this lovely shrike with prey. Fabullous focus, dof, colors, lighting, feather detail, and background. Superb work!!!
