Belted Kingfisher
Beautiful sunny day, but too much for my cell phone's camera to handle well. This guy was very photogenic. Chattered the whole time, and treated us to a variety of antics. Fun bird.

The really are very pretty kingfishers these Joker (not so pretty as ours though;);)

That's a lovely result from a cell phone, I've given up trying to use mine LOL. Many thanks for showing him to us lad.

A lovely capture of her, Scott. I was so pleased to see several of these kingfishers when we visited New England last fall.
