Bengal Bushlark (Mirafra assamica)

A rarity ...

A lifer ... during
Pilibhit Tiger Reserve
Visit in Jan. - 2015
... turns out to be
a Forum-rarity
too ... only
3rd in the database

It was feeding on
dried grass
seeds ...

The encounter was so
brief and sudden ...
leaving no chance
of a video ...

... may be
next time
... hopefully

Have two more images
showing the bird
in different
poses ...
that I'll
post later

Ooooh!!! Very well done on your Lifer Alok; and getting such a great picture of the rarity.

I'll await your other pictures, then study them all to see which would be best for the Opus article.

Many thanks my friend.
