Location
Welney
Date taken

Equipment used

Great capture to get them so well in flight together. Mind you they look more like Bewick Swan to me!

You are absolutely right Ian. The Whoopers had consigned the smaller Bewicks to surrounding fields and I had been viewing Whoopers for about an hour with no Bewicks so when the flypast came along I assumed the wrong birds. Thanks.

Barry

No problem. We get very few Whooper around here but almost never bewlicks so I'm always peering intently at yellow bills when I come across them! A great sight to see.

Lucky you I was there just after christmas and didnt see any Bewicks at all . Nice shot.
