Big youngsters
After the Goshawk, things went rather quiet and as it was getting towards lunchtime we set off back to the cabin.

En route we stopped off at a different part of the Homestead Dam. There was a family group of Emus there, and at sight of our car the youngsters were ushered back behind a bush. But it wasn't long before they relaxed and came out again.

Eventually they had drunk their fill and wandered off again.

I haven't cropped this picture... he was almost too close!!!
