Black and Tan. (Passer domesticus)

As soon as I saw this tree stump, which had been burnt and was now black with charcoal, I immediately thought of what a good photo it would make with the right bird and setting. What better than a simple sparrow in the early morning sunlight with dapple shading from a tree. Perfect.
