We don't see these handsome ducks very often on our property, but a pair were checking out the large holes in one of our dead post oaks, in mid-April this year, but they did not stay to nest here!

An excellent close-up of the handsome species Helen. I have been seeing more individuals each year over the past ten years. It is always a treat to see them around here. TFS!
