Black billed gull (Larus bulleri)

I know just another gull but this one happens to be the most threatened gull species in the world and of cause it has to be here in NZ! I am told that the leg ring makes this bird around 17 yrs old.

A black bill and white eye, what a gorgeous gull. Excellent focus, lighting, feather and eye detail, pose, and background. A real standout Tom!!!

A stunning, detailed, pin sharp portrait of this beautiful Gull, Flossie !!! Thanks for sharing and for the information.

A cracking shot Tom, gulls are so adaptable it's hard to imagine them becoming endangered
