Black-capped Chickadee (Parus atricapillus)

We had a bit of sun yesterday but by the time I was able to get outside the overcast skies had taken over again. The winter lack of light woes are already here LOL. This cutie was perched in the tree hydrangea at the edge of our property.

This is a superbly composed image,Deanne!! With a lovely expression on the face of this chickadee and a marvellous soft harmony in the colours :t::t::t:

An excellent capture Deanne, great detail and setting, thanks for sharing :t:

Thanks so much everyone! I appreciate your kind comments.

Ken, same here I gave up today when I was shooting at ISO1000 F5.6 and still getting shutter speeds of 1/20th! Some sunshine would be much appreciated before all the fall color is gone.

A little cutie Deanne.
Although they do remind me a lot of our Great Tit's.
Stunning capture:t::t::t:
