Black capped Chickadee (Poecile atricapillus)

My daily friendly visitor is always the first to greet me each morning.
Location
Putnam County, NY
Date taken
1/14/21
Scientific name
Poecile atricapillus
Your photo shows the little bird very well. I live fewer than 100 miles south of you, where the black capped chickadee is both common and welcome in the cooler months. My building's garden had a few, this morning.
