Black-crowned Pitta (Erythropitta ussheri)

Went over to Borneo to look for new birds with a guest based in Kuala Lumpur. It was a leisure bird photography trip. Here is a Black-crowned Pitta which we waited for 6 hours before heaven opens!

A super find for you Cheong Weng Chun, it's over 2 years since we last saw a picture of this species come in.

thank you everyone for the comments. well, we were supposed to spend 2 hours for this bird. but since this is the major target, we had to sacrifice the other targets.
