black-headed grosbeak (Pheucticus melanocephalus)

Sunny, unseasonably warm (32c) and a great day to be out at Oak Island nature area on Sauvie Island, just west of Portland. I was expecting to see Bullock's Oriole
but instead got some great views of this Black-headed Grosbeak.
