Black Headed Gulls fascinate me and their behaviour and changing plumage between winter and summer is interesting to observe. Note the gull to the right and its head plumage changing from winter to summer.
I came across this adult (winter) pair at Chasewater in Staffordshire on yesterday afternoon just before a heavy fall of snow.
Oh, Dean, they have me hooked too, our wintering horde delights me all the winter through and I have to hold me back snapping them!!! I've not noticed the plumage change in ours yet!
o Many thanks for sharing this pair annoyed about the harsh weather!!! :t: :t:
