Black Kite UGANDA SER

Black Kite UGANDA SER (Milvus migrans)

In our East Africa travels, we saw this brown bird in the air almost wherever we went including towns and cities. At a distance, it typically appears black against a sky background, but this photo shows some of its true color. It is the most widespread and commonly seen raptor in the area, and is a highly successful scavanger and predator.
