Black-necked Stilt (Himantopus mexicanus)

I spent a week in San Carlos at the end of my consulting career. Every day I went to this park after work knowing I would be stuck in traffic on the way back to the hotel. This is the day after the shoveler shot. There must have been 100 stilts there.
