Black Pennant (Selysiothemis nigra)

The nearest I can come up with from my guide book is female desert darter and judging by the location it sounds feasible. If anyone knows different, please let me know.

From expert advice this is an immature female black pennant.

Nice and delicate work, Adrian. In the spirit of how the Dragonfly shots are commented lately in BF I must say this one has pretty legs.. ;)
 
She's certainly unlike any darter I've ever seen - lovely sandy colours to go with the name.
