Around March I think but the 40D had a couple of weeks in canon's hospital. I still use my 'over exposing' 20D with a filthy sensor. The 40D is a nice number but so too is the 20D and I am rather fond of it even though it looks like it's done 10 revolutions in a cement mixer.
