Black Tern
Chris G6 UXU

Black Tern (Chlidonias niger)

Black Tern at RSPB Marshside Southport Lancashire, it was a dark, dank and dismal day in the rain and this was the best I could do. They were flying around as fast as a Swallow and it was difficult to photograph them and this is a lifer for me.

The light must have been frustrating. Still a fine freeze action shot, Chris!! tfs.

Well done Chris , I tried all week on Norfolk Island to get a similar Tern against a dark background and wasn't successful at all. Tfs
